Best light kit ever
I'll start off by saying I have tried 3 different brands before trying the 2.0 kit. This was my first 2.0 kit, as well as my first DIY kit. SO easy to use! I could not believe the difference, first time I didn't hate doing lights. They fit so well into the lego pieces, so flat and so easy to use. Feel stronger than the old lights too.
Quick description of the contents -
Astro lights - tiny, 1 bulb lights.
Meteor lights - strip lights
Tethers - the pieces that fit onto the meteor light to fit it to the underside of a brick or plate
Belts - the wires that connect meteor lights to each other or to the dock
Dock - The area that all lights and power plug in together. NOTE - it only has space to attach 1 meteor light and the power, so the second meteor light MUST connect to itself.
Eclipse - its a piece that can fold around the wires to tuck them out of the way and allow you to access the set
Flux belt - this is the belt/cable that ends in a USB head. You can then plug it in to power.
The meteor lights stick to bricks and plates - I used them to stick to the second floor of my modular MOC to shine on the 1st floor.
The astro lights tuck into pieces - I have tried 1x1 bricks, 1x1 round bricks, clear minifig heads, 1x1 cheese slopes, and 1x2 flat plates.
