Couldn't be more happy with this set, I just removed the open/close piece of the cockpit to have the light on event if the cockpit is closed
Not as over the top as Ecto 1 or the DeLorean, but this set make the Batmobile just a bit more real.

The lighting effects are great, the coloruing choices of the LED's again great, even the general build is great.
I have a couple of grumbles, but also fixes in the same breath...
1) The cockpit doesn't close when you follow the instructions fully
SOLUTION: I removed one of the 2x2/45 slanted pieces (lego part ID 6425507/76959) and moved the switch PCB slightly over to that space and my hood shuts perfectly nad performs perfectly too.
2) With the cables that move (turbine at the rear)...
SOLUTION: instead of twisting them together in 2 sets of 3, I platted them, then pulled them through, then with the spare sticky pad, I stuck it the inside of the back allowing it to be able to move freely without coming un-twisted or caught.
Other than those two little things everything seems to be working perfectly and lights up beautifully.
